33k versus 56k slope resistor?

seems to me every time i use the 56k i get more low mids,and when i go back to the 33k it adds more upper mids.what have you guys found?

Odd, the 33k is supposed to add bass and mid gain. Also, the 56k is traditionally paired with a 250pf cap, and the 33k has a 500pf cap. Did you change those as well? Read up on it here:

also, download the tone stack calculator (link from that page). You can virtually play around with your tone using that program.
